I have been living in the Hudson Valley for the past 8 years and it is officially one of my two most favorite places in the world, the other being Tuscany. I had a major travel bug earlier in my life and have traveled throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, and Central America, and have lived for a few years in Italy, Hong Kong and Singapore. I feel strongly that there is nowhere I would rather be than right here in the Hudson Valley. I would like to help others discover the beauty of this area. There is something about the energy here that is unlike anywhere else. The area is protected by so many conservation easements and will forever look like this and in these changing times, where we see places developing in such unattractive ways, it is nice to know that we still have small towns with small family run businesses, and farm markets, where you know the people you buy your food from. This in one of the similarities that remind me of life in Italy, where people shop, and do errands on a daily basis and these activities are social ones. After being here for 8 years I always run into people I know and it feels wonderful. It is also special because there are many amenities in our small towns, such as unique restaurants and specialty gourmet food markets and shops that are not usually available in small towns, but are able to survive due to the secondary home market. I also love the spiritual community here. No matter what path you are on there are people here who will share it with you. I love the yoga and kirtan community and the number of people that are committed to being balanced and loving in this fast paced demanding world.
My experience is varied and I believe makes me well rounded and suited to help you find or sell a home. I come from a real estate family in Israel and have grown up around owning and developing property. I have been a realtor for ten years here and in NYC and am also an attorney with work experience in large corporate and litigation firms in NYC, as well as, most recently, the land acquisition attorney for the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. I have also designed and built two homes, renovated several others, and was in charge of creating a major subdivision. My wide ranging experience in real estate, the law, as well as being a licensed mediator with training in negotiations will help me facilitate any transaction. I also speak fluent Hebrew and Italian, if that can come in handy. I look forward to working with you and helping you find your sanctuary, or sell your home so you can move on with the next phase of your life.
